Classic Randomizers

Terms & Conditions

Last updated:

The short version. It's an app for making random choices and playing small games. Use it for fun, not for anything that matters legally or financially. Purchases go through the store you bought the app from — Google Play or the App Store — so refunds do too. Your lists are yours and stay on your phone, with a copy in your own iCloud on iOS.

Agreement

By downloading or using Classic Randomizers ("the app"), published by OneMacStudio ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms cover the app on both Android and iOS. Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you obtained it from — Google Play or Apple's App Store.

Who can use it

The app is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, which is how it is declared to both app stores. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to terms like these, use the app with a parent's or guardian's permission until you reach it.

What the app is for

The app produces random results for casual, everyday use — deciding what to eat, who goes first, which team someone is on, and similar. It is entertainment software.

It is not intended for gambling, wagering, prize draws, official or regulated lotteries, statistical sampling, or any decision with legal, financial, medical or safety consequences. Results come from the device's standard random number generator, which is suitable for a game and not certified for any of those purposes.

Your content

Anything you create in the app — wheels, lists, names — belongs to you and is stored on your own device. On iOS a copy is also kept in your own iCloud so it returns after a reinstall or on a new iPhone. We neither receive it nor have any claim over it. You are responsible for what you enter, and for having the right to enter it.

Optional purchases

Some features are offered as a one-time in-app purchase, through Google Play on Android or Apple's App Store on iOS. The upgrade unlocks every feature and removes ads. On iOS there is also a smaller one-time purchase that only removes ads and unlocks nothing else. Neither is a subscription. The price shown at the moment of purchase is the price that applies, in your local currency, inclusive of any taxes the store collects.

Purchases are billed by the store, not by us. Refunds are therefore requested from that store under its own refund policy — Google Play on Android, Apple on iOS — and we cannot issue a refund directly. If a purchase does not unlock correctly, email us and we will help you get it sorted.

A purchase is tied to the store account you bought it with — your Google account on Android, your Apple Account on iOS — so it restores on a new device when you sign in with that same account. It is for your own use and cannot be transferred or sold on.

If a purchase is refunded, by you or by the store, what it gave ends with it: the app checks with the store each time it opens, so the paid features close and the ads return. That is the same rule in both directions — it is what lets the upgrade come back on a new phone without you doing anything. Nothing you created is touched: every wheel and list you made stays exactly as it is.

Advertising

The free version of the app shows occasional advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. We do not choose, review or control which specific ads appear, and we are not responsible for the content of an ad or of any site it leads to — those belong to the advertiser. If you see an ad you believe breaks Google's policies, tell us and we will report it. The optional upgrade removes ads entirely, as does the ads-only purchase on iOS.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted
  • Use the app to break any law that applies to you
  • Attempt to circumvent the purchase mechanism or interfere with advertising
  • Redistribute the app or present it as your own

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features. We aim to keep paid features working for as long as the app is published, but we cannot guarantee indefinite availability of any third-party service the app depends on, such as Google Play or the App Store.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will suit any particular need.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneMacStudio is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including any decision made on the basis of a result it produced. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under the law of your country that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Tamil Nadu, India have jurisdiction — without affecting any right you have to bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence where local law gives you that right.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the app changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
